Zombit Art Exhibition at the Library
Libraries boring, ey? Definitely not: libraries are temples of books and… art! Bibliotheek Venlo has a changing art exhibition at the library and in-house healthy coffee place STEK. This month, May 2023, is their first ever graffiti exhibition, and the art works on display are created by none other than yours sincerely.
For this exhibition, Zombit has selected works of pop idols we all love and cherish - like David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Sia - and movie characters we dreadfully fear - Halloween’s Michael Myers, Alien’s Xenomorph, Stranger Things’ Demogorgon, and more. As the exhibition is at a public library, she also created brand new stencil graffiti portraits of famous authors and the book characters of our favorite stories - horror writer Stephen King, gothic horror poet Edgar Allan Poe, Frankenstein’s monster, Harry Potter’s Dobby the House Elf, Lord of the Rings’ Frodo - you name it! We won’t spoil what other iconic pieces can be found at the art exhibition, so come and check it out yourself. Make sure to tag a selfie with your fav piece: @this.is.zombit
